Chad Hall for City Council

About Chad Hall

My name is Chad Hall. I’m 55 years old and have been married to my beautiful wife, Melodie Hall, for 32 years. Together we have two children and two wonderful grandchildren.

For more than 25 years, I have had the privilege of serving Southside Virginia as the CEO of BTW21 Television, providing local news, weather, sports, and community programming. I have also served as Senior Pastor of New Day Church in Martinsville for the past 10 years.

Martinsville isn’t just where I live—it’s where I’ve invested my life. My home, my businesses, my church, and my real estate investments are all here because I believe in this city and its future.

A Vision for Opportunity

I grew up in Martinsville. I remember when people were excited to come here. Today, too often, when people hear the name “Martinsville,” they think of conflict instead of opportunity. That has to change. That is why I am running for Martinsville City Council.

My Platform

Restore Professionalism.
Rebuild Trust.
Move Martinsville Forward.

Key Priorities for Our Community

Integrity & Leadership

The first step toward progress is restoring integrity and professionalism to City Council. Strong leadership creates confidence, and confidence attracts young professionals, new businesses, and families.

Economic Growth

Our city must focus on growing tax revenue, increasing school enrollment, expanding workforce opportunities, improving housing, and addressing our infrastructure needs through collaboration.

Regional Partnership

We are stronger when we work together. By partnering with Henry County, tourism organizations, local businesses, schools, and state agencies, we can drive economic growth.

Accountability

Integrity, transparency, accountability, and respect are not campaign slogans—they are the principles I have lived by. In my world, a handshake still means something.

Focusing on Solutions

I want City Council to spend less time focused on personalities and political disagreements and more time focused on solutions that improve the lives of our citizens. I believe Martinsville’s best days are still ahead of us.

I respectfully ask for your vote so that, together, we can build a city our children and grandchildren will be proud to call home.
